Our instructor was one of the funniest people I have met so it made the classroom portion not as boring, but he had to show us awful videos of people getting in car crashes. I disliked that alot but I guess the videos worked because it made me more cautious on the road. And, helped me remeber the facts on the video.
After I passed the written portion on the test I still had to go through the driving. The first two hours were great. I went home feeling super confident about my driving. The second two hours were awesome as well, except for the end. Somehow when we were making our way back to the school I got confused and turned too much on a corner and hit a road sign and cratched the crap out of the car. The instructor told me I was one of two people he had ever gotten in an accident with. Lucky for me he still passed me and I was able to get my permit...
8 months later it was my 16th birthday and I wanted to get my license. Everyone always told me I should practice the parking but I was concieted and went into my test thinking I was solid. I was far from solid. Six cones later I failed my test and was on the way home crying. My dad made me practice everyday for a whole week before I took my test again and finally passed!!
I am now a licensed driver without a mark on my record.
